The Energy
e:XL-series is my personal favorite. Whether you
take the e:XL-15's and -16's (bookshelf) or the
e:XL-25's and -26's (tower), you can't go wrong.
If you're a real “bass-lover” (I admit
I am), then the e:XL-28P tower with built-in
powered sub-woofer is the choice for you. The
wide range of speakers in this line allows us to
customize a surround package that will suit your
specific needs and budget.

The Energy
e:XL-8S was a small wonder, and was used as
a reference sub by a number of magazines. Not
simply because of it's huge bass output, but
especially for the sound quality at such a
rock-bottom price. At $300 it's cleaner and
tighter than most $500 to $1,000 subs. The new S8.2 exceeds even
the e:XL-8S to glow as the new 8" Monster from Energy.
For those more into movies, with a need for
additional blasting power to really feel those
explosions, the new S10.2 is all the sub you would ever need.
With a new beefed-up amp, front controls and the cool blue
light, you can't go wrong with the 10" S10.2 subwoofer.
If you're looking for room-shaking sub-action,
audition the e:XL-12S (while they last), which goes as low as 20Hz.
Be sure your room (and your stomach) can handle
the vibrations though. |
